The Secretary-General of the Union meets a delegation from the 'Read for Education and Culture' Association in Macedonia.

Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Sallabi, the Secretary-General of the World Union of Muslim Scholars, accompanied by Sheikh Dr. Fadl Murad, the Assistant Secretary-General, welcomed a delegation from the "Read for Education and Culture" association in Macedonia on Sunday, February 4th.

The delegation, led by Mr. Rajai Aziri, the President of the Association and a member of the World Union of Muslim Scholars, included the Director of Quranic Memorization, Hafiz Abdul Qadir Abbasi, and Association member Mr. Ali Reza Yaqoob, along with the student and memorizer of the Quran, Hafiz Wahid Adnan Yusuf.

During the meeting, the Secretary-General discussed the current situation of Muslims in Macedonia, urging the delegation to spread awareness about the importance of engaging with the Holy Quran and steering clear of issues that may divide the community.

Sheikh Al-Sallabi emphasized the importance of connecting the nation with the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, following the path of great leaders and the esteemed Companions, and encouraging the new generations to devote themselves to learning Arabic, the language of the Holy Quran.

This meeting falls within the scope of the Secretary-General's interests and his follow-up on the conditions of the Islamic Ummah.

It is noteworthy that the "Read for Education and Culture" association in Macedonia was founded in 2004 and focuses on teaching and memorizing the Holy Quran.
