IUMS praises the Palestinian community in Qatar for planting a thousand trees named after different Palestinian cities and villages.

The Palestinian community in Qatar celebrated Qatar's Environment Day with a positive and tangible act by planting a thousand trees with the names of different Palestinian cities and villages, with the participation of over 150 people from the Palestinian community in Qatar.

The event saw the participation of many parents and children, who played their role in planting these local trees in a local reserve with the support of Ali Al Hanzaab afforestation and desertification combat initiative.

These events come as part of the celebrations of Qatar's Environment Day under the slogan "Our Land, Our Heritage", which aims to reaffirm Qatar's commitment to preserving the environment.

Anas Al-Hajj, President of the House of Expertise(bayt alkhibra), pointed out that such efforts and achievements confirm the great interest enjoyed by the Palestinian community in Qatar. The World Union of Muslim Scholars praised this positive and tangible act, expressing their appreciation and respect for what the Palestinian community in Qatar has done.
