IUMS strongly condemned and denounced Istanbul explosion

The International Union of Muslim Scholars condemns and denounces the explosion that occurred on Istiklal Tourist Street in Istanbul, and extends its condolences to the families of the martyrs, and wishes the wounded a speedy recovery
And confirms that Islam prohibits these cowardly criminal acts in law and custom

Statement context:
International Union of Muslim Scholars strongly condemns the brutal terrorist attack that occurred on Sunday inside the famous tourist area of Istiklal Street in Istanbul, Turkey, in which at least six people died and dozens were injured.

We affirm that this is a cowardly criminal act that is forbidden by Sharia, and is considered a major sin, the Almighty said : "whoever slays a person- unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people “ (Al Maeda: 32.)

Any operation like this is criminal and has a great sinner, regardless of who carried it out. As well as denouncing the targeting of innocent people, and we also affirm the sanctity of human blood, and the inadmissibility of attacking it without any right from the aspects approved by the divine laws and international laws.

Finally, on behalf of the President of the Union, the General Secretariat, the members of the Union and its various organs, I extend my sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to Turkey - the President, the Government and the people - and to the families of the victims, asking God Almighty for patience and solace for the families of the victims and a speedy recovery for the injured.
And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.
