IUMS letter to world presidents

 

Dear President

After Greetings:

IUMS is raising to you the highest consideration and respect phrases, and hopes that you are well and wishes you more success.

What happens in Syria is truly the largest humanitarian disaster in the world, that since the beginning of the crisis until this day, the death toll reaches more than 220 thousand people, injured more than a million people, more than 12 million people left their homes, between displaced people and refugees, and they need humanitarian aid, including 6 million children.

It is not secret to you the rapid and massive deterioration of the situation in Aleppo, since the killed during this week are about 400-500 people and the remaining health facilities in the east of the city of Aleppo is about to be destroyed completely, and suffered more than 300,000 people, including thousands of children, an enormous human suffering is due to random shelling, and the use of incendiary weapons in the bombardment, shells sophisticated, systematically, in densely populated areas, which is classified as a violation of international humanitarian law and war crimes.

Thus Aleppo today beset by all humanitarian standards, and suffered from various kinds of misery, and all that happened and is happening under the eyes of the whole world, and the international community and its institutions is not moving, and did not take a position commensurate with the magnitude of the disaster that has befallen these unarmed civilians.

 

 Oh Majesties, Excellency’s and Highnesses...

  O human conscience...

The brothers and sisters in Aleppo, Syria, are dying daily because of the tens of indiscriminate shelling and siege, and the tragedy of "Aleppo" and a disgrace to all of them caused.

For wealth and government employers greater responsibility to save them from certain death, and the relief and humanitarian organizations to contribute generously, and pen holders and thought their defense with all their might and Allah will ask us, and the history will judge us.

IUMS asks you to immediately intervene to help solve this crisis, and the initiative to break the siege of the city and stop the indiscriminate shelling, to provide security for civilians and reach them food, medicines necessary, to rescue those who are trapped in it, because what is happening today in Aleppo great crime against humanity .

We hope that you will do your part, and stand with the oppressed and persecuted, and be an active role to end the crisis which last for more than five years.
