The Secretary-General at a library in Doha receives the Indian Islamic world's Sajjad Naumani

The Secretary-General received His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Qaradaghi at his office in Doha yesterday. His Eminence Sheikh Khalilur Rahman Sajjad Naumani, the Indian Islamic world's scholar and spokesman for the Muslim Personal Law Board in India, was also received during the meeting.

Several issues concerning the Islamic nation were discussed during the meeting, with a focus on the need to organize a seminar on religious obligations towards Muslim minorities, to raise awareness and educate on religious and legal matters.

The meeting emphasized the importance of permanent relationships and continuous communication between the International Union of Muslim Scholars and scholars from India, north, south, east, and west, where they meet annually to exchange experiences and ideas on religious and social issues.

It is worth mentioning that this meeting is part of the continuous efforts made by the Islamic Union to enhance communication and cooperation between religious scholars in different parts of the world, with the aim of supporting Islamic values and contributing to their dissemination and reinforcement in Muslim societies.
