Palestine Four Palestinians die in 24 hours due to Israeli forces attacks

Palestine (AA, Wafa, imemc): A Palestinian was killed Sunday after he was shot by Israeli forces near the village of Silwad, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to the Ministry of Health reports Wafa news agency. Earlier on Saturday. three Palestinians lost their lives to Israeli army fire in the occupied West Bank. A fourth Palestinians dies Saturday due to wounds sustained by Israeli army attacks.

Ahmad Kahla, 45, was shot by Israeli soldiers at the western entrance of the town. He was taken to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, where he succumbs to his serious wounds.

According to witnesses, Israeli forces shot the man after they verbally clashes with him and forced him out of his vehicle before shooting him at point-blank.

A ministry statement said two young men were killed in an Israeli attack in the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin city on Saturday

The state news agency Wafa said Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle in the town, killing two and injuring a third Palestinian.

Media sources said the soldiers assassinated the two Palestinians after ambushing their car near the Jaba’ town junction, fired many live rounds at them, and chased them to the Al-Fandaqumiya nearby village before firing a barrage of live rounds at their car, killing the two.

It remains unclear why Israeli forces opened fire on the car.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed the names of the two slain Palestinians as Ezzeddin Bassem Hamamra, 24, and Amjad Adnan Khaliliyya, 23, both from Jaba’.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old Palestinian Yazan Al-Ja’abri, died of wounds he sustained from Israeli army fire west of Jenin earlier this month.

There was no comment from the Israeli military on the report.

The deaths  of the three young men brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli army fire in the first fourteen days of this year, 2023, to thirteen, including three children.

The Palestinians Health Ministry said the soldiers killed 224 Palestinians last year, including two children; 59 slain Palestinians are from the Jenin governorate.
