IUMS strongly condemns the bombings and the shooting, which occurred in the Turkish city of Istanbul late on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 that killed 10 innocent people and injured at least 20 people, according to initial reports from the Turkish media and some official agencies as well, Sheikh Ali Qurah Dagi - Secretary-General of the Union - stressed in his statement that the Turkish Republic been targeted aggressively from the inside and outside, and this target is a terrorist and a criminal and cowardly committed by whomever and whoever is standing behind it or supports it, mentioning that the bombings will not affect on Turkey, by Allah's will, and on the stability of the Turkish Republic also, it does not mean that there is no security but means slag and fear of the perpetrators.
Dr. Qara Daghi called for the Turkish people to stand behind the president and his government and its leaders in their war and confront them for this odious terrorism which seeks to strike Turkey politically, economically and socially, especially in light of the growing of the economy of Turkey in the current period, which confirms the need to support Turkey and its economy, security and support its tourism as well.
IUMS sends its condolences to the families of the victims and their loved ones and for the president of the Turkish Republic and the people and Government, and prays for the injures for fast recovery, and asks Allah Almighty to raise these temptations for the Islamic nation, and bring peace to the whole world.
