Union Condemns Ongoing Sudan War, Urges Arab, Islamic Nations and International Organizations for Sudanese Rescue

The International Union of Muslim Scholars vehemently condemns the devastating war that has torn through our brotherly Sudan.

It calls upon the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as international organizations, to exert every effort to save our people in Sudan. This beloved country has been witnessing a destructive war for several months, leading to serious violence that has caused the displacement of millions and war crimes against humanity.

In light of this great tragedy:

Firstly: The Union strongly denounces the ongoing attacks against innocent civilians and the escalation of violence perpetrated by rebel forces who have defied the Sudanese state, backed by malevolent regional and international powers that do not wish well for the country or its people. It considers these forces as rebels who have violated the principles of Sharia and committed serious crimes, including bloodshed, violation of honor, looting of property, and corruption on earth.

Therefore, the Union urges the Arab and Islamic nations and all free people of the world to do everything in their power to stop the fighting and save the Sudanese people from this great ordeal.

Secondly: In light of the escalating humanitarian crisis in Sudan, the Union calls upon the Sudanese state to resolve this chaos and mobilize the country's resources to stop the bloodshed of its people. It also calls on the rebel forces to cease their aggression and violence against lives, property, and honor, and to refrain from harming innocent civilians' blood, property, and dignity.

In this regard, the Union calls on charitable and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their duty towards our Sudanese people by delivering aid to alleviate the harshness of war and extend a helping hand to them.

Thirdly: In the context of promoting values of tolerance and coexistence, the Union urges the achievement of national unity and reconciliation, with a focus on averting strife and not indulging in creating divisions. It emphasizes the necessity of engaging in a national dialogue table that prioritizes the country and the Sudanese people's interests first and foremost, allowing for comprehensive and sustainable solutions.

Fourthly: The International Union of Muslim Scholars implores Allah Almighty to grant wisdom, guidance, and strength to the leaders and people of Sudan to overcome this crisis and build a stable and prosperous future for the nation. May He lift this affliction and bestow peace and stability upon its people, for He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.
