The IUMS sends warm greetings to the Muslim world, its leaders and people, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, calls them for unity, cooperation and solidarity, and for turning a new page to become the nation of good, mercy, and power

The IUMS takes the opportunity of the Eid Al-Adha, the celebration of sacrifice, bounty, and graces, to send the warmest greetings, wishes, and blessings to the Muslim world with its leaders, scholars, intellects and people, and prays that Allah will guide them all to the underlying meanings and purposes of this occasion, and guide their steps to see the Eid next year in better conditions where unity prevails, where the nation has been liberated, where rights have been reclaimed to their rightful owners in Palestine and Syria, and where the suffering has been alleviated for our brothers and sisters in Burma, Bangladesh, Somalia, and in other places.

The IUMS also takes the opportunity to remind the leaders of the Muslim nation not to forget their brothers in Palestine and their major cause, as well as those in Syria, Burma and everywhere.

The Union urges them to start a new page of unity, cooperation, building, and complementarity for the nation to achieve the welfare and mercy that Allah wills for them and to be "the best of peoples, evolved for mankind,” (Quran 3: 110).

As known, this Eid occasion links our nation to the glorious and inveterate history of our model Prophet Ibrahim, his son Ismail, and his wife Hajar as they demonstrated complete readiness to sacrifice the apple of their eye for the sake of pleasing Allah Almighty. So let’s all be up to this elevated criteria, and may you have a blessed Eid!
