IUMS appeals to Arab and Islamic countries to prevent aggression against Sunnis in Iraq, and the necessity of unity against sectarianism.
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah; Mohammed, and upon his family, companions, and allies. And after,
IUMS follows and sees some attempts to distort the Iraqi rebel movement against injustice, and exclusions as a motion for militant organization only. In contrary to the true Iraqi scene; which confirms that we are in front of a popular revolution, demanding the right for long time, and the government didn’t respond.
In the light of what is happening now on the Iraqi land, IUMS; as an update stated by the Union during the past few days about the Iraqi issue, sees and confirms the following:
1. Sunnis have suffered from a great injustice and exclusion, so it is obvious to do a popular revolution against injustice, and to demand their legitimate rights.
2. The Union calls Arab and Islamic countries to prevent any aggression against Sunnis in Iraq, and unite the efforts to achieve the legitimate right of all Iraqis.
3. The Union asserts on the importance of not mixing between the true rebels, and any militant organization; that its action is refused. Since the rebels are the sons of Iraq from the clans, and tribes; which refuses as well the actions of any militant group that abuses the Iraqi scene and tarnished its revolution.
4. In this event, the Union condemns the actions of "Daash” in Syria and Iraq, and any terrorist organization that doesn’t take into consideration the principles and values of Islam in war and peace. And the Union is committed to ensure and maintain the sanctity of blood, treasure, and people.
5. The Union profess with the necessity of the unity for all honorable Iraqis, and the need of resistance against the danger of sectarian strife, and work to stop fighting and start reconciliation on fair basis, that preserve the rights of all Iraqis without exception. Thus the Unity against this danger is ordinance legitimacy and national necessity. Allah Almighty said:{ And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah( stretches out for you, and be not divided among yourselves.}, and Allah Almighty said:{ and fall into no disputes, lest you lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere.}[ Anfal 46]
So the sedition should be canceled. May Allah save Iraq from civil war and strife!
