IUMS condemns the harsh provisions against Al-Jazeera journalists and citizens in Egypt.
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger; Mohammed, and upon his family, companions, and allies and after;
IUMS has received with great resentment and disapproval, the provisions of rigorous imprisonment against Al-Jazeera journalists, who tried in Egypt with no committed crime, or charge warrant of arrest, as well as they arrest them for 175 days, and stated harsh provisions against them, as in the case of thousands of Egyptians right; who are tried without charge or offense , and even convicted with provisions that reaches execution, or life and rigorous imprisonment to thousands of Egyptian people. This confirms that the provisions are political not legal, and did not take into consideration the right of Allah, not even appropriate human conscience.
On this issue, IUMS believes and assures the following:
1.IUMS assumes that the provisions against Al-Jazeera journalists are unfair and shocking provisions, and didn’t take into account any legitimate, legality, regional, and international standards.
2.The Union confirms that targeting the journalists is a target to the truth itself. And the pursuit of gagged, and withholding facts, to mislead the people, did not and will not prevent the arrival of the truth to them. Thus the systems based on lies and deceit will collapse.
3.IUMS condemns the provisions against free citizens since July, 3 2013 till now, and considers it political provisions, directed against opponents, and absent justice standards, and the mankind conscience dictates.
4. IUMS demands free world to condemn those provisions, and do anything to stop it, and use any political, legal, and human rights pressure means to lift the injustice, and return the rights to their owners, and to trail the rotten.
5.The Union praises the position of the countries and organizations, which denounces these provisions, and claims all liberals and freedom supporters in the world to reject all kinds of injustice, and advocate the oppressed, especially religious and ethnic minorities, who are exposed to extermination and persecution. This is against the justice of Allah.
