IUMS condemns unfortunate bombings in Boston, USA, offers condolences to families

All praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, God’s messenger, and on his family, companions, and followers;

The International Union of Muslim Scholars received with extreme grief and concern the sad news of the bombings that took place in Boston, USA, and left three killed and dozens wounded among innocent civilians. In view of this subversive incident, the union asserts the following:

First- the union offers its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, prays that the wounded will be given a speedy recovery, and expresses complete solidarity with those harmed by these bombings.

Second- the union severely condemns these sabotaging acts, whatever side they came from, that targeted innocent people on a day of celebration for the city. All acts of violence against innocent people are undoubtedly rejected by all heavenly religions, Islam at the forefront of them, and by all manmade laws and ethical conventions. The Holy Quran had stated this fact as well as other heavenly books: {if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people} [Quran 5:32]

And from Allah is all assistance!
